I normally don't do reviews, however I couldn't pass on not sharing with the world how Ah-Mazing Yana is. I've been wearing Lashes for about 7years. I've traveled all around the world so I've had my fair share of letting others share their talents on my eyes (some good, some not so good) and everyone thinks they're better than the last or previous. I'm SO picky and she is set apart. 7 star service,quality, friendly but very calm atmosphere. LOVE she is a LASH Godess. Over the past 18 years, as owner and lead stylist, Yana gained a reputation as the most sought-after lash stylist in the Houston and surrounding areas with her second location now available in River Oaks.
Yana is a Licensed Master Lash Stylist, as well as a former educator and a YUMI™Lashes Certified Expert. She attended The Aveda Institute to become a licensed esthetician for the purpose of specializing in the art of eyelash extensions.
She has received the most comprehensive hands on training and acquired the highest level of certification in eyelash extension application. Her meticulous attention to detail is evident in each and every application that she performs.
Yana's work has long been recognized in the industry and featured in several publications worldwide. She was personally invited to the Golden Globes gifting-suites party to provide lash applications to the nominees and celebrity attendees.

What are YUMI™LASHES
YUMI™LASHES are your natural lashes lifted with a keratin treatment, and volume boosted with a special color pigment.
YUMI™LASHES curves your natural lashes upward and gives them height, volume and an appearance of wearing mascara. It is a healthier Lash Lift alternative that boosts your lashes with proteins and vitamins - unlike other brands which simply curl your lashes using perm solutions.

YUMI™LASHES vs Other "Lash Lifts"
YUMI™ is NOT a perm.
Traditional lash lifts use perm solutions with harsh, noxious and dangerous chemicals that are drying and damaging to the cuticle of the hair. Producing a thin lash appearance and an inconsistent curl.
YUMI™LASHES uses NO harsh chemicals, it is Hypoallergenic and non-toxic. All products used during the treatment are paraben and formaldehyde-free. The treatment does not have a negative impact on your natural eyelashes, but rather strengthens their structure due to the high nutrient components in the products.
Other Lifts do not include a color enhancement. A lash tint must be scheduled separately if the client desires darker eyelashes. Lash tints contain more chemicals, which when combined with a perm solution, can further damage the natural eyelash to the point of breakage.
YUMI™LASHES is a 3-in-one service, lash lift, tint and anti-aging treatment. NO other lash perm products or tints are needed with the YUMI™LASHES treatment.
Lash perms are not regulated in any way.
YUMI™LASHES Is EU approved - which has some of the most rigorous cosmetics standards in the world.
Other lash lifts may cost less because perm solutions are comprised of lower quality ingredients and because there is no mandatory training required/provided to purchase a perm kit.
You might be lead to believe you’re getting a lash lift because of the use of silicone shields, when you are really getting a perm in disguise. The results can be damaging and very costly to rectify.
The YUMI™LASHES procedure requires great precision, skill and hygiene. Each treatment is personalized to each individual client.
In order to provide the exclusive YUMI™ brand, each technician is required to attend a training workshop at the YUMI™LASHES Academy and receive full certification to acquire purchasing access to all YUMI™ products.

Policies
We ask that you take the following into consideration for the ultimate relaxing experience.
Often our eyes are unintentionally restless after consuming caffeine. To prevent them from fluttering during treatment, avoid caffeinated drinks before appointment.
For your comfort and relaxation we require that you silence your cell phone while in the treatment room.
Contact lenses may not be worn during any of the treatments. Please wear your glasses or bring contact lens case and solution to remove your lenses prior to your treatment.
For safety reasons, only the person receiving a service will be allowed in the treatment room. No exceptions.
Children are not allowed in the studio. Please make pre arrangements for child care.
Pre-Appointment Instructions
Certain cosmetic ingredients are known to interfere with treatment results. Please follow all of the pre-appointment instructions below:
Arrive to appointment without eye makeup including concealer, foundation, and eye creams. These should be completely removed the night before appointment and eyes should again be thoroughly cleansed the morning before treatment.
Water-proof mascara should not be worn at least 5 days prior to your appointment and lashes should be thoroughly cleansed daily with water-based eye-makeup removers.
Do not use any type of eyelash curlers at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
Oils and synthetic oily-ingredients should be avoided at least 3 days before treatment. Switch to water-based cleansers for the best results.
Please keep in mind you cannot wet your lashes or apply any moist ingredients on or around eyes for 48 hours after a lash lift treatment and 24 hours after a lash extension application.
Appointment duration time
For YUMI™ Keratin Lash Lift:
Application time can vary depending on the thickness and length of your natural lashes.
Please block 2 hours from your schedule for your initial YUMI™Lashes treatment.
On average a lash lift can take about 90 minutes.
For Lash Extensions:
Application time can vary depending on the "look" you are trying to achieve.
Please block 2 ½ hours from your schedule for your initial lash extension application.
On average a full set can take between 2 and 2 ½ hours.
Important Lash Lift Info
If your lashes have been damaged by a lash lift with someone else's product, you must wait until those lashes have shed before you can have another lift.
Re-applying another lift solution to over- processed lashes (even one as gentle as YUMI) can cause breakage. In the meantime, condition your lashes daily with castor oil.
For severely damaged lashes I highly recommend you treat them with YUMI Keratin Mascara which you can purchase at my studio.
Please do not make an appointment for a lift if this applies to you, as you will not be worked on upon your arrival and your prepayment will be forfeited.
Cancelations / Reschedules / Late Arrivals
A 24hr notice is required to cancel/reschedule an appointment. Client will be subject to a cancelation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service depending on whether enough notice is given and we are able to rebook the missed appointment.
Only 2 reschedules will be allowed per appointment request, after which the request will be declined, any prepayment will be forfeited, and future appointment requests will require a New Client $50 prepayment.
No-shows. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service.
Late Arrivals. We ask that you arrive to your appointment on time, or inform us with notice that you are running late. Lash Lift late arrivals over 15 minutes will need to reschedule their appointment and the no-show fee will apply. Lash Extensions late arrivals will be accommodated, but you will still be charged the full price for scheduled service.
We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an "on call" status and can have travelled to the boutique specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue.
